Cosa Nostra Casey is a custom Take&Hold character based on a weapon pool reminiscent of classic mobster movies and games. Inspiration was taken from the Godfather trilogy and the Mafia games for weapons to include. Casey is set in roughly the late '40s, following the end of WW2 and near the economic boom that followed.

As for the weapons themselves, there are two main progression tracks: Old Country weapons and Mattress Measure weapons. Old Country weapons are those associated with the Sicilian mob or European crime, and are typically older, including weapons like the C96, Luparas, and a suite of Carcano rifles. Mattress Measure weapons are more "American" weapons, including weapons such as the M1911, Model 10, and plenty of Thompsons. If you can stay alive long enough, there's even rumors that some automatic rifles stolen from the feds have hit the streets.

Recommended Mods

Some of the weapon categories will be pretty sparse if you do not have any weapon mods installed. Linked here is a modpack I have created containing all mods that are currently compatible, and this spreadsheet contains a list of every mod and what it adds for picking and choosing. I will keep these updated if any weapons get added/removed. Speaking of, if you have any suggestions for mods I did not include or more weapons that could be added, you can reach me in the H3VR Homebrew Discord server.
