***********Some weapons were apparently fine before the fix so this can lead to an over correction and subsequent holding the gun too far forward. Unfortunately attempts to fix some of these guns were in vain as I can't even find the right records to change.

This should fix the holding stock of gun instead of handle issue in the weaponsmith extended2/modern weapons packs along with using loads of ammo and/or Modern Weaponry (Weaponsmith Extended 2 - Modern Firearms merge). I just used Kevtg26's fix method and mesh file and applied it to almost every weapon that didn't have a 1st person model entry utilizing fo4edit for specifically the weaponsmith extended 2.esp, modern firearms.esp, loads.esm, we2mfcombine.esp.

All the esp/esm in the download folder do not all have to be installed if you don't have one or more of these mods so if you only use weaponsmith extended with loads of ammo you just need the loads.esm and weaponsmith extended 2.esp in my download.

Installation instructions

Download kevtg26's assault carbine fix here

Extract the zip and go into data\meshes\weapons and delete the ar15 service rifle and ar15 assault carbine folders

Repack the data folder as zip/rar and install it using your favorite mod manager

Download my modded esp/esms and replace your installed esp/esm with the Weaponsmith Extended 2.esp, loads.esm, modern firearms.esp, WE2MFCombine.esp.

If you use mod managers with virtual directories like mod organizer 2 just go look at the plugins list for any of these esp/esms and right click it then click open origin in explorer then replace it (make backups of originals).

DO NOT INSTALL ALL 4 ESP/ESM FROM MY DOWNLOAD PACK IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL MODS ASSOCIATED WITH THEM (WEAPONSMITH EXTENDED 2.ESP WITH WEAPONSMITH EXTENDED 2 INSTALLED) AS MISSING MASTER FILES WILL CAUSE YOUR GAME TO NOT BOOT, ONLY INSTALL WHATEVER ASSOCIATED MODS YOU HAVE WITH MY ESP/ESMS
