Dustbin (0.10.34 fix)
This is soarqin's Dustbin (trash disposal for belts, storages and tanks), rebuilt so it loads on game 0.10.34+. The mod is soarqin's. This package exists only because the belt-signal feature currently fails on 0.10.34 and upstream has been inactive for several months.
Install this instead of soarqin-Dustbin, not alongside it.
The same fix is offered upstream:
If soarqin releases an updated Dustbin, use that. This package will be deprecated.
What broke
Game 0.10.34 removed GameData.GameTick (the main loop was split into per-system methods). Dustbin 1.4.0's belt-signal transpiler targeted that method, so Harmony threw and the belt-signal patches did not apply. Storage and tank dustbins were a separate patch and kept working.
The fix
Belt-signal processing is now a postfix on GameLogic.TrashSystemGameTick (once per logic tick, after cargo). Everything else is Dustbin 1.4.0.
Usage (unchanged)
- Checkbox on Storage and Tank UI to turn them into dustbins.
- Belt signal "DUSTBIN" (first tab of the signal panel) destroys items on the belt.
- Destroyed items can yield soil piles (json config). Item IDs:
